Police are investigating a break-in at Lowery jeweller's in North Street, Chichester.

A cordon is in place around the shop, which had a side-window smashed in the incident last night.

Early witness reports indicate the break-in triggered an alarm and police came quickly to the scene.

A member of staff said the team were waiting for forensics to be carried out.
