Brighton arrests after car collides with parked vehicles

Sussex Police have arrested two men after cars were damaged in Brighton.

Officers received a report of a car colliding into two parked cars in May Road at around 3.30am on Friday (July 19).

On the way to the scene, police saw a vehicle matching the description from the collision in Lewes Road.

A police spokesman said: A 29-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, driving without a licence and the possession of a class C drug. A 33-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and in charge of a motor vehicle and possession of a class A drug.”

Both remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing, said police

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to report online or call 101 quoting 146 of 18/07.
