Brighton flasher admits 16 counts of indecent exposure

Sussex Police said a man has admitted 16 counts of incident exposure in connection with a string of incidents in Brighton over the last two years.

Edward Kent, 27, of The Drove, Brighton, was arrested by officers on Tuesday (January 15).

Police said he was charged with indecently exposing himself to teenage girls mainly in Preston Park, but also in Dyke Road Drive, Braybon Avenue and Blakers Park on 16 occasions from November 1 2016 to January 10 2019.

Kent appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (January 17) and admitted the offences, police said.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 14.
