Burglars try to break into village property near Horsham

Burglars tried to break into a property in a village near Horsham in the early hours of yesterday (January 25).

Police say that the attempted break-in was made to an outbuilding in Hammerpond Road, Plummers Plain, at around 1am.

Meanwhile, burglars broke locks and damaged a gate at a house in Beech Grove, Storrington, last week.

Police say the attempted break-in happened between midnight and 3am on January 19.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.
