Chichester man in court: Luke Jeffrey murder trial set to start

The trial for the murder of Bognor Regis teenager Luke Jeffrey begins today (Monday August 8).

Samuel Morgan, 19, of Adelaide Road, Chichester, denies murder.

Luke Jeffrey, 18, of Linden Road, Bognor, was found with serious stab wounds in Alexandra Road, Chichester, on the night of Friday, March 11.

He was initially taken to St Richard’s Hospital and then transferred to Southampton where he died from his injuries the following morning.

The prosecution is expected to open its case today, Monday, August 8, at Hove Crown Court.

The trial is listed for ten days.
