Court results - Horsham

The following are results from Crawley and Horsham magistrates’ courts from September 28 to October 2:

Debra Eggleden, 48, of Acorn Avenue, Cowfold, was fined £180, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and four penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at Cowfold.

Peter Heale, 32, of Beech Road, Horsham, was given a five month jail sentence, suspended for 15 months, with a driving ban for two years and eight months, an £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in a bus in Crawley on July 11 this year. Court records say the offence was more serious because there were passengers on the bus.

Jordan Read, 23, of Pondtail Close, Horsham, was fined £220, with £56.25 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Pauline Robinson, 46, of Cook Road, Horsham, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, and £110 costs. She had been convicted in her absence of keeping an uninsured vehicle.

Lance Tucker, 29, of Bens Acre, Horsham, was fined £293, with £60.42 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Samuel Williams, 21, of Keats Close, Horsham, was fined £37, with £45 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Jade Whitney, 22, c/o Blackbridge Lane, Horsham, was fined £105, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly, and resisting a police officer.

Liam Bestow, 23, of Seaford Road, Crawley, was fined £240, with a £24 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and ten points added to his driving licence. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Horsham.

Jack Stuttard, 22, of Heene Road, Worthing, was banned from driving for a year, with a £40 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £300 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug (ecstasy), and driving while unfit through drugs on the A264 at Pease Pottage.

David Rudkin, 38, of Hardy Close, Horsham, was given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, and £620 costs. He had been found guilty of common assault.

Peter Cartwright, 44, of Avelmore Road, Beckenham, was fined £405, with a £41 victim surcharge, £625 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Handcross.

Gabriel Peck, 18, of The Common, West Chiltington, was banned from driving for 20 months, with a £110 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving.
