Court results - Mid Sussex

The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Joseph Hoare, 38, of Bridge Street, Saxilby, was fined £170, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Bolney.

Graham Hodgkin, 49, of Queens Road, Haywards Heath, was fined £660, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Dial Post.

Aaron Huykman, 42, of Shotters Hammonds Ridge, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for four weeks, with a £1,000 fine, a £100 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Crawley.

Paul Fell, 42, of Cuckfield Lane, Warninglid, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Horsham.

Charles McMullen, 27, of Lewes Road, Haywards Heath, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without an MoT certificate at Haywards Heath.

Matthew Treagus, 21, of William Allen Lane, Lindfield, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault.

Jason Goodman, 23, of Noel Green, Burgess Hill, was fined £267, with a £26 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and five penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at Burgess Hill.

Martin Lurring, 25, of North Road, Haywards Heath, was fined £50, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and five penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at Burgess Hill.
