The Golf left the Esso garage in Station Road and forced its way in front of the blue Toyota, causing the driver to brake hard, police said.

The Golf driver is then alleged to have stopped and approached the other car and slammed on the bonnet, kicked the door and bent the nearside windscreen wiper, before he opened and slammed the victim’s door shut, police added.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged about 30, with black hair and of stocky build.
