Eastbourne burglary round-up

Eastbourne Police are investigating burglaries which took place last weekend (January 22-24).

During Friday (January 22) and Saturday (January 23) a garage was broken into at a property off Saffrons Road.

Unknown suspects gained entry to the garage and stole various power tools, said police.

New builds on the Bluebird Way development site reported an attempted burglary on Sunday (January 24).

Police said unknown suspects caused damage to windows on the buildings and attempted to remove large white goods although no items were stolen.

A business address on Bolton Road reported a burglary overnight on Sunday (January 24).

Unknown suspects forced entry through a door and stole electronics as well as alcohol, said officers.

A garden shed at a property off Glendale Avenue was also broken into on Sunday (January 24).

A padlock was forced off the shed and a pedal cycle was stolen from inside.
