Eastbourne police make drug arrests and tackle anti-social youths in crackdown

Around a dozen officers have launched a week of pro-active controls in hotspots of crime and anti-social behaviour, including a road safety crack down.

According to Eastbourne Police's social media, two people were arrested for drug offences yesterday evening and a large group of youths was dispersed from near the bandstand for causing a noise disturbance.

Alcohol seizures were also made around Collonade Gardens and youths causing a disturbance in Gildredge Park on Wednesday were also moved along.

Several people were stopped for traffic offences.
