Eastbourne Police seek owners of ‘stolen’ garden furniture

Eastbourne Police found suspected stolen garden furniture on Monday morning after reports of a group acting suspiciously.

Two garden chairs and a table were found abandoned and have been recovered by police.

Police say officers suspect it was stolen although this has not been confirmed yet.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said, “Around 5.30 this morning officers responded to reports of some youngsters acting suspiciously, and walking down The Goffs, Eastbourne carrying garden furniture which we believe has been taken from someone’s nearby garden.

“If you have had your table and chairs stolen from your garden overnight, please get in touch, quoting 102 12/04/21 and we can arrange to reunite them with you.”
