Eight vehicles destroyed in possible arson in Brighton

Anyone who may have CCTV footage of a fire which destroyed eight vehicles is being urged to contact police.

The incident, which police said is being investigated as deliberate ignition, happened in the car park at Enterprise Point in Melbourne Street, Brighton.

Police were called to the scene by the fire service about 1.40am today (Wednesday, March 31), and the fire was extinguished.

Officers have carried out house-to-house enquiries, and are urging anyone with any information – in particular, anyone with CCTV which may have captured what happened – to come forward.
