Four men named and charged after fight in Crawley - Police want to hear from injured man

Police in Crawley have charged four men following a fight and are also seeking another man they believe may have been injured.

Officers responded to a reported fight in Lewisham Close, Broadfield, at 3.55pm on Sunday (February 14).

Kharrum Chaudary, 40, a deliveryman, of Lewisham Close; Thomas Franks, 29, unemployed, of Langley Lane, Ifield, Crawley; Bashir Khan, 39, a driver, of Fennel Close, Crawley and Jan Lee, 29, unemployed, of Martyrs Avenue, Langley Green, Crawley, have all been charged with threatening behaviour, according to Sussex Police.

The four men are due to appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on April 14.

Police believe that another man may have sustained injuries as a result of this incident, but have not yet located him.

Detective Sergeant Mel Pyle said: “We are urging this man to make contact with us so that we can check on his welfare and speak to him about this incident.

"We are also appealing for any other witnesses to make contact.

"Please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 750 of 14/02”.
