Heavy police presence on Brighton seafront: boy reunited with his family

Several police cars were photographed on Brighton seafront on Saturday evening, May 22, after a report of a missing boy.

Eddie Mitchell took the pictures at about 5.50pm, which show five police cars parked across the road from the Odeon cinema.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Sussex Police were called over concerns for a missing young boy on Brighton beach at about 4.15pm on Sunday, May 22.

"Officers attended the scene and then located the boy about ten minutes later.
