Benjamin Usher, 29, of West Street, Midhurst, was given a community order and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work after admitting two charges of assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, by beating in Chichester on August 2, 2020. He must pay a total of £100 compensation, plus £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Liam Watts, 26, of Medmerry Court, High Street, Selsey, admitted breaching a suspended sentence order. The order was amended by extending the operational period to 24 months. He was given an 18-week consecutive prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with alcohol treatment requirement, Thinking Skills programme requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement, after admitting breaching a restraining order by being at a prohibited address in Bognor Regis on December 14, 2020. He must pay £128 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Darren King, 54, of Glencathara Road, Aldwick, was fined £120 and must pay £60 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to attend rehabilitation activities on August 14 and 22, 2019.

Jamie-Lee Margeson, 29, of Jury Lane, Sidlesham Common, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £310 costs, after being found guilty of assaulting an emergency worker, a police officer, in South Street, Chichester, on February 13, 2019.

Jason Scutt, 47, of Chichester Marina, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 50 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Chichester on May 22, 2019. He was also given a restraining order and must pay £100 compensation, £90 victim surcharge, £700 costs.

Richard Temperton, 54, of Scant Road East, Hambrook, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and fined £120 after admitting failing to stop after a road accident in which another person was injured in Pook Lane, Lavant, on May 12, 2020. He must pay £200 compensation, £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for two years. He also admitted driving without insurance, driving without the correct licence and driving without due care and attention, no separate penalties.

James Rogers, 42, of Baxendale Road, Chichester, was given a community order with Thinking Skills programme requirement after admitting failing to provide a specimen of blood when required at Worthing Custody Centre on August 28, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months and must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving while disqualified in Lockgate Road, Sidlesham Common, on August 28, 2020. He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on November 24, 2020, and driving without insurance, no separate penalties.

Zachery Bell, 27, of Victoria Road, Emsworth, was fined £50 and must pay £60 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to report for induction appointments on December 23, 2020, and January 5, 2021.

Artur Mikrut, 50, of Chichester Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £50 and must pay £34 victim surcharge after admitting stealing a bottle of prosecco worth £8 from Morrisons Bognor Regis on August 28, 2020.

Owen Palmer, 19, of Westward House, Fishbourne Road East, Chichester, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in Chichester on July 22, 2020; and two charges of assault in Chichester on July 22, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge.
