Ben Dillon, 29, of Cambourne Court, Shelley Road, Worthing, was given a community order with drug rehabilitation requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement after admitting stealing a Garmin sat nav worth £120 from a motor vehicle in Worthing on September 26, 2020; and stealing Ray-Ban sunglasses and a face mask from a vehicle in Worthing on September 26, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs.

Craig Lidbetter, 31, of Hayley Road, Lancing, was given a community order with Thinking Skills programme requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement, and must carry out 200 hours’ unpaid work after admitting harassment, causing fear on at least two occasions that violence would be used, between June 17 and 28, 2018. He was also given a restraining order and must pay £600 compensation, £85 victim surcharge.

Kurt Clark, 27, of Freshbrook Road, Lancing, must pay £30 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on September 12 and 26, 2020. The order was varied to include an additional three days’ rehabilitation activity requirement.

Mantas Bielskis, 30, of Stamford Street, Grantham, was fined £400 and must pay £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (149mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood) in Columbia Drive, Worthing, on May 23, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Nicola Murroni, 37, of Lyndhurst Road, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for six months and must pay £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting remaining on premises in Shelley Road, Worthing, on June 23, 2020, in contravention of a closure order under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Maksims Overoko, 34, of Beach Crescent, Littlehampton, was fined £400 and must pay £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (42mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in South Terrace, Littlehampton, on August 6, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Frank Okene, 35, of Gardner Road, Portslade, was fined £300 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting drink-driving (43mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) on the A27 Southwick on August 9, 2020. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Andrew Stace, 39, of Evelyn Avenue, Rustington, was fined £120 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting failing to stop when required by a police constable in Jackson Road, Brighton, on March 10, 2020. He also admitted using a vehicle without an MOT certificate, no separate penalty.

Mark Newman, 36, of Kingsland Close, Shoreham, was fined £123 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, having been found guilty under the single justice procedure of using a vehicle without an MOT certificate in Marine Parade, Brighton, on November 17, 2019. He was fined £246 and his driving record was endorsed with three points after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of using a vehicle with a rear offside tyre that did not meet the legal minimum tread depth in Marine Parade, Brighton, on November 17, 2019. He was also found guilty under the single justice procedure of using a vehicle with a rear nearside tyre that did not meet the legal minimum tread depth in Marine Parade, Brighton, on November 17, 2019, no separate penalty.

Jordan Thomson, 27, of Brighton Road, Crawley, admitted breaching a community order and was dealt with for the original offences, receiving an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with rehabilitation activity requirement for stealing two packets of salmon worth £10 from Tesco service station, Littlehampton Road, Worthing, on August 8, 2020; and seven eight-week concurrent prison sentences, suspended for 12 months, for stealing a meat cleaver in Broadwater Street West, Broadwater, on August 24, 2020; stealing a Phillips shaver worth £100 from Boots, Worthing, on August 8, 2020; stealing joints of meat worth between £60 and £85 from The Co-op, Lancing, on June 28, 2020; stealing two milkshakes and a doughnut worth £3.70 from McColl’s, Broadwater, on June 16, 2020; stealing washing powder from Tesco, Shoreham, on May 11, 2020; stealing razors worth £58.47 from Boots, Lyons Farm, Worthing, on April 29, 2020; and stealing goods worth £117 from Waitrose, Worthing, on April 3, 2020. He was given a six-week consecutive prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after admitting interfering with a vehicle with the intention of theft in Crawley on October 19, 2020. He was given a four-week concurrent prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and must pay £100 compensation, £28 victim surcharge, after admitting assault by beating in Crawley on October 19, 2020.

Laura Beales, 27, of Longford Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £660 and must pay £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by Sussex Police at Shoreham on November 19, 2019. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

Daniel Thompson, 38, of Bishop Close, Lancing, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work after admitting persistently making use of a public electronic communications network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another in Burgess Hill on August 27, 2020; and harassment without violence, making contact numerous times by numerous methods, including breaching police bail conditions, in Burgess Hill between August 25, 2020, and October 2, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs.
