The following are the latest results contributed by HM Courts Service, for cases from the Chichester area sentenced by West Sussex Magistrates’ Court sitting at Worthing and Crawley from October 17 to 24, 2024.

Raymond Cripps, 44, of Bognor Road, Chichester: Fined £120 and must pay £85 costs for driving while disqualified in London Road, Crawley, on April 28, 2024. Fined £80 for failing to provide a specimen of blood for laboratory test when required at Crawley Police Station on April 28, 2024. No separate penalty for failing to surrender to custody at Crawley Magistrates' Court on May 14, 2024, having been released on bail at Crawley on April 28, 2024. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

William Harris, 35, of Hamilton Way, Westhampnett: Fined £100 and must pay £40 victim surcharge after admitting driving over the 40mph speed limit on the A27 Upper Brighton Road, Hillbarn, on February 18, 2023. Driving record endorsed with three points.

Wiktor Gan, 22, c/o St Cyriacs, Chichester: Jailed for 14 days after admitting breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Brighton Magistrates' Court on September 24, 2024, and a complaint was made in Chichester on October 17, 2024.

Danny Stretch, 33, of Nore Down Way, West Marden: Community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 80 hours' unpaid work after admitting assault by beating in South Street, Chichester, on January 11, 2024; and theft from a shop, stealing food worth £49.50 from Iceland, Chichester, on January 11, 2024. Must pay a total of £99.50 compensation, £85 costs.

William Hughes, 38, of Selsey Road, Sidlesham: Community order and must carry out 160 hours' unpaid work after being found guilty of assault by beating at The Southdowns, Bognor Regis, on October 27, 2023, and admitting drink-driving (87mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Summerley Lane, Bognor Regis, on October 27, 2023. Fined £120 after admitting failing to stop after a road accident in which damage was caused to street furniture in Summerley Lane, Bognor Regis, on October 27, 2023. Must pay £650 costs, £114 victim surcharge, £100 compensation and was disqualified from driving for 22 months.

Krzysztof Wroblewski, 44, of Arun Road, Bognor Regis: Community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must carry out 200 hours' unpaid work after being found guilty of two charges of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required in Queensway, Bognor Regis, on April 4, 2023; and admitting driving while disqualified in Station Road, Bognor Regis, on April 4, 2023. Must pay £650 costs and was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Carl Neale, 51, of Down Close, Heyshott: Community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and 120-day alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement after admitting using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent to suggest immediate unlawful violence would be used or provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence at Reading Station on October 22, 2023; and two charges of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour with intent, causing harassment, alarm or distress at Reading Station on October 22, 2023. Must pay £50 compensation, £85 costs. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place at Reading Station on February 9, 2024, no separate penalty.
