Information sought as thieves ransack Chichester shop

Help is being sought by Sussex Police as it investigates a break-in which saw thousands of pounds of stock stolen from a city centre shop.

Lush in East Street was entered via the back door as some point over night and thieves ransacked the building taking boxes of stock with them when they left.

Read the original story here: Thousands of pounds of stock stolen in third Chichester break-in in three daysA spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Between 6pm on Thursday (February 13) and 8.30am on Friday (February 14) intruders broke into Lush on East Street, Chichester, and following an untidy search stole various items of stock, including perfumes, fragrances, moisturisers, shower products and toiletries.

"Consequently the shop was closed for business on Friday.

"Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious overnight, or who may have relevant CCTV or mobile phone footage, is asked to report details online or phone 101, quoting serial 247 of 14/02."

Police have said there is nothing so far to suggest the burglary is being linked to a break-in at Good News on Wednesday.
