Investigation continues after thieves ransack Selsey shop

Police have appealed for witnesses to a break-in at a newsagents in Selsey.

Thieves ransacked The Rock Shop in the early hours of Saturday, August 22, making off with about £10,000 worth of cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

Speaking after the burglary, the shop owner, Sanjay Patel, said: "We have lost everything which is sad." Read more hereSussex Police said officers are investigating the break-in at the newsagents in Selsey High Street, which happened around 3.40am.

A spokesperson said: "Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour at this location at this time or has information to assist the police investigation is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting reference 294 of 22/08."
