October 27:

Darren Sands, 42, of Hamsey Close, Eastbourne, was convicted of using threatening behaviour. The offence took place at Eastbourne District General Hospital on August 16. 
He also indicated a plea of guilty to dishonestly assisting in the disposal of £461 worth of stolen bathroom fittings at Eastbourne between August 7 and August 16. He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for two years. Magistrates said the reason for the sentence was due to previous convictions. The court made a community order and ordered him to pay £100 in compensation.

Lee Higgs, 38, of Seaside Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. 
The offence took place at Eastbourne on September 18. He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer at Eastbourne on the same date. 
He was sentenced to five weeks in prison and ordered to pay £300 in prosecution costs.

Daniel Adams, 39, of Fairmount Road, Bexhill, indicated guilty pleas to being in possession of quantities of heroin and crack cocaine at Eastbourne on April 20. He also pleaded guilty to driving a Suzuki vehicle on Princes Road, Eastbourne on April 20, with no licence or insurance. He was fined a total of £360 and his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Harvey Sayers, 19, of Royal Sussex Crescent, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to causing £200 damage to a glass window pane belonging to Victoria Drive Dental Practice, at Eastbourne, on August 19. He was ordered to pay £200 in compensation.

October 28:

Kelly Pragnell, 36, of Pelham Close, Westham, Pevensey, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at Park Avenue, Eastbourne, on August 16. She was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. 
The court made a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered her to pay £50 in compensation.

Anthony Masters, 38, of Flint Way, Peacehaven, indicated a plea of guilty to being in breach of a court non-molestation order by sending text messages and posting social media posts. The offences took place at Seaford between February 12 and February 13. 
The court made a community order and fined him £160. Magistrates issued a restraining order.

Byron Leigh-Logan, 22, of St Martin’s Crescent, South Heighton, Newhaven, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Arlington Reservoir on May 31. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

James Black, 68, of Bedfordwell Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus on The Avenue, at Eastbourne, on August 27, while twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 81 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
He was fined £461 and banned from driving for 20 months.

October 30:

Natalia Trokowska, 19, of Cambridge Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle at Fort Road, Newhaven, on April 10 while over the drink drive limit. She have a breath alcohol reading of 68 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
She was fined £90 and her driving record endorsed with ten penalty points.
