November 24:

Joshua Haynes, 29, of Honeysuckle Avenue, Hailsham, was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall vehicle on Townsend Road, Eastbourne, on May 26, while over the drink drive limit. 
He gave a blood alcohol reading of 95 milligrams. The legal limit is 80 milligrams. He was also found guilty of driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance at Eastbourne on the same date. He was found guilty of failing to comply with a suspended sentence, made by Lewes Crown Court on November 13 last year. He was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall vehicle on Marshall Road, Eastbourne, on June 12, while disqualified from driving, and found guilty of driving with no insurance at Eastbourne on the same date. 
He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on December 22 and released on unconditional bail.

November 25:

Mark Hoare, 40, of Clarence Road, Eastbourne, indicated guilty pleas to being in breach of a court restraining order by sending Facebook messages and hand delivering a letter. The offences took place at Eastbourne between March 11 and March 14. 
The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work.

Simon Crittenden, 32, of Geering Park, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Polo on South Road, Hailsham, on September 9, while disqualified from driving. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance on the same date. 
He was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. Magistrates said the reason for the sentence was that the offences were aggravated by previous convictions. The court made a community order and banned him from driving for three years.

Liam Tucker, 40, of Shortlands Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a Mitsubishi Shogun on South Road, Hailsham, on September 8 while three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 112 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 23 months.

Jack Drury, 24, of Hawkhurst Way, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Transit, on the A259, at Seaford, on September 10, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 40 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. 
He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Hayden Hennessy, 21, of St Martin’s Crescent, Denton, Newhaven, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes vehicle on The Drive, at Hellingly, on September 10, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 40 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance at Hellingly on the same date. He was fined £437 and banned from driving for 13 months.

Christopher Ball, 24, of Seven Sisters Road, Willingdon, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis. The offence took place at Eastbourne on September 9. He was fined £80.

Wayne Lewis, 50, of Beechwood Crescent, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to three charges of being in breach of a Community Protection Order by playing music loudly. The offences took place at Eastbourne between June 4 and July 31. 
He pleaded guilty to a charge of using threatening behaviour at Eastbourne on July 2. 
He was given a two-year conditional discharge. Magistrates granted a Criminal Behaviour Order, requiring him to hand over any music or stereo equipment and not to shout at anyone on Beechwood Crescent.
