July 22:

Kara Anscombe, 27, of Mountney Drive, Pevensey, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a glass window pane. The offence took place at Bexhill on October 27, last year, She was fined £140.

Daniel Graham, 43, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The offence took place at Rye on February 22. He also pleaded guilty to causing £22 damage to a plug, wine glass and pictures at Rye on April 9. The court made a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and a requirement of 130 hours of unpaid work.

July 23:

Jorden Hodges, 31, of Old London Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The offence took place at Hastings on July 14. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of intimidating and harassing the victim on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 80 hours of unpaid work. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Magistrates also issued a restraining order.

Karen Houghton, 51, of Alder Gardens, Bexhill, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at Bexhill on May 16. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £25 in compensation.

July 27:

A 16-year-old Hastings youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a knife in a public place. The offence took place at Waterloo Station, London, on May 22. He was referred to the East Sussex Youth Offending Team for a 12-month contract.

July 28:

Ellie Goggin, 20, of Goddens Gill, Northiam, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A259 at Icklesham, on December 28 last year, with cannabis and the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in her bloodstream. She was fined £120 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Joseph Harper, 32, of Priory Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to unlawfully taking a Seat Leon vehicle. The offence took place at Hastings on December 28 last year. He also pleaded guilty to driving the vehicle on Fairlight Road, Hastings, on the same date, with no licence or insurance and to driving with the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in his bloodstream. He was fined a total of £360 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Alfie Robertson, 19, of Deepdene Gardens, Hastings, pleased guilty to driving a Ford vehicle at Hastings on December 21 last year with cannabis in his bloodstream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Henry Barton, 19, of Stonefield Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a direction given under the Anti-social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, by returning to Carlisle Parade at Hastings on April 13. He was fined £80.

Georgia Burgin, 21, of Vale Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta, on Vale Road, on December 23, while over he drink drive limit. She gave a blood alcohol reading of 121 milligrams. The legal limit is 80 milligrams. She was fined £300 and banned from driving for one year.

Matthew Degerden, 45, of Albany Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Peugeot vehicle on Bexhill Road, St Leonards, on December 8, last year, with the controlled drug benzoylecgonine in his bloodstream. The court made a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and banned him from driving for one year.

July 30:

Aaron Pratt, 38, of Bexhill Road, St Leonards, was convicted of unlawfully taking a Peugeot vehicle. The offence took place at Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent, on August 17 last year. The court made a community order with a requirement of 150 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for one year. He was ordered to pay £600 in prosecution costs.

Darren Richards, 33, of Park Crescent, Hastings, pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of wine, worth £4.50, from Asda at St Leonards, on April 18. He was convicted of exposing his genitals and using threatening behaviour at St Leonards on the same date. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

Amanda-Jayne Simmons, 29, of Chapel Park Road, Hastings, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at Hastings on May 13, She was given a one year conditional discharge.

August 4:

Stephen Wheatley, 48, of West Hill Road, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a knife in a public place at London Road, St Leonards, on January 21. The court made a community order.

Anthony Jones, 25, of Blackman Avenue, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on Old London Road, Hastings, on October 7, with cocaine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance and to failing to stop following an accident, on the same date. In addition, he pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on Blackman Avenue on January 28, with cocaine in his blood stream and with no licence or insurance. The court made a community order with a requirement of 200 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for three year. He was fined £120.

Artur Bereza, 36, of Saxon Rise, Marlborough, indicated a plea of guilty to driving an 18 ton DAF vehicle dangerously on Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards, on March 10. The court made a community order with a requirement of 300 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 18 months.
