October 13:

David Axell, 45, of Ascot Mews, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The offence took place at St Leonards on May 8. He also pleaded guilty to causing damage to a Ford Fiesta vehicle, belonging to the victim, on the same date. He indicated a plea of guilty to sending text messages and a voice mail which conveyed a threat. The offence took place at St Leonards between March 11 and May 9. The court made a community order and ordered him to pay £400 in compensation. Magistrates issued a restraining order.

Bekim Axhami, 27, of Magpie Close, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Main Road, Icklesham, on July 28, with no insurance or licence. He was fined £120 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

Ryan Bowles, 35, of Welston Rise, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW on Harrow Lane, Hastings, on August 16, while more than three times over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 126 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. The court made a community order with a requirement of 200 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 32 months.

Jack Down-Milton, 23, of Amherst Gardens, Hastings, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing £2,300 cash. The offence took place at Battle on July 9 2019. The court made a community order with a requirement of 140 hours of unpaid work.

Darren Masters, 29, of Main Street, Peasmarsh, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle at Wish Street, Rye, on August 18, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 69 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Rye on the same date. He was fined £400 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Jamie Cole, 28, of Fellows Road, Hastings, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a Seat vehicle on New Winchelsea Road, Rye, on July 11, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 60 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £184 and his driving record endorsed with ten penalty points.

Julian Roberts, 49, of North Street, St Leonards, was found guilty of five charges of failing to comply with a Community Protection Order by drinking alcohol from a can outside Renaissance House, in London Road, St Leonards. The offences took place between February 11 and July 1. He was fined £240 and ordered to pay £296 in costs.

Jerry Owusu-Amankrah, 26, of Honor Oak Road, London, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford vehicle on the A21 at Robertsbridge, on February 22, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

October 21:

Akinwale Olorunda, 32, of Lincoln Close, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to dishonestly making a statement to the Department of Work and Pensions with a view to obtaining Universal Credit payment. 
The offence took place at St Leonards between April 27 2017 and January 12 2019. The court made a community order with a requirement of 60 hours of unpaid work.

Gillian Allen, 51, of Chiltern Drive, Hastings, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. The offence took place at Hastings on August 25. She was given a one-year conditional discharge.

Jadeine Edwards, 28, of Downey Close, St Leonards, indicated guilty pleas to two charges of assaulting a police officer.
The offences took place at Hastings on August 25, She was given a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

Alexandra Dobre, 29, of South Street, Romford, Essex, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on Battle Road, St Leonards, on March 4, with cocaine in her bloodstream. She was fined £800 and banned from driving for one year.

October 23:

Aaron Willard, 32, of Ashdown Road, Bexhill, was found guilty of failing to provide information to police relating to the identity of a driver of a Volkswagen vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. The offence took place in Sussex on October 22 last year. 
He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £620 in prosecution costs. His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.

Stanley Hearn, 29, of Bancroft Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to driving a Mazda vehicle on Northiam Road, Beckley, on October 16, while over the drink drive limit, He gave a blood alcohol reading of 170 milligrams. 
The legal limit is 80 milligrams. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance at Beckley on the same date. He was fined £170 and banned from driving for 17 months.
