Alan Brown, 38, of Mendip Gardens, Hastings, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at Hastings on October 15, last year. He also pleaded guilty to destroying a car wing mirror, valued at £516, at Hastings on the same date. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £480 in compensation.
Marcus Bannister, 27, of Whitegate Close, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, pleaded guilty to driving VW Transporter vehicle on Warrior Square, St Leonards, on August 19, last year with cocaine and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving a Seat vehicle on the A265, at Etchingham, on May 12, last year, with cocaine in his blood stream. The court made a community order with a requirement of 40 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for 18 months.
Andrew Beale, 39, of De La Warr Road, Bexhill, indicated guilty pleas to three charges of making Category A, B and C indecent images of children. The offences took place on April 24, 2019. He was committed to Lewes Crown Court for sentencing on April 14 and released on unconditional bail.
Luke Willis, 31, of St David’s Avenue, Bexhill, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis at Robertsbridge on July 2, last year. He was given a one year conditional discharge.
Lewis Hayward, 26, of St Leonards Road, Bexhill, was found guilty of two charges of being in breach of a court Non-molestation Order. The offences took place at Bexhill on July 20 and 23, last year. Sentencing was adjourned to allow for reports to be prepared. He was released on unconditional bail.
An 17 year old Hastings youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to malicious wounding. The offence took place at Hastings, on June 1 last year. He was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for 18 months. The court made a community order with a requirement of 160 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £200 in compensation.
Adam Qadiri, 30, of Battle Road, St Leonards, was found guilty of using a BMW vehicle on Marina, St Leonards, on April 20, last year, with no insurance. He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £620 in prosecution costs. His driving record was endorsed with eight penalty points.
Anne-Marie March, 50, of Carinus Gardens, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Hastings Road, Bexhill, on January 23, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. She gave a breath alcohol reading of 81 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was fined £451 and banned from driving for 20 months.
Emma Gilam, 41, of West Hill Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to being found drunk, while having the charge of a child under seven years old, at West Hill Road, St Leonards, on November 19, last year. She was given a one year conditional discharge.
Glenn McShane, 44, of Fairmount Road, Bexhill, pleaded guilty to two charges of failing to comply with a Football Banning Order by surrendering his passport. The offences took place between October 6 and November 14 2019. He was fined £333 and ordered to pay £100 in prosecution costs.
Ivan Curtis, 43, of Caves Road, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to driving a motorcycle dangerously on Churchwood Drive and Crowhurst Road, St Leonards, on January 27. He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. He pleaded guilty to failing to stop for police and driving without a licence, at St Leonards on the same date. He admitted being in breach of a suspended sentence made by Oxford Crown Court, in June last year, for supplying crack cocaine. He was committed to Oxford Crown Court for sentencing on April 21 and released on unconditional bail.
