Man, 65, pushed to the ground and robbed in Crawley

A man suffered cuts and bruises when he was pushed to the ground and robbed in Crawley.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 7.15pm on Sunday February 7.

A spokesman said: “A 65-year old man was outside the Co-op Texaco garage in Balcombe Road, Crawley, when he was pushed to the ground and had his wallet taken from his back pocket.

“There were three suspects, described as being younger white males in dark clothing.

“They ran away towards Turners Hill Road, discarding the wallet from which they took some cash.”
