Man and woman sought following Chichester burglary

Police are on the hunt for a man and a woman following a burglary in Chichester.

The appeal follows a burglary at The Newell Centre in Tozer Way two weeks ago.

A sound system consisting of speaker and microphone, worth approximately £500, is reported to have been stolen between 8pm on Tuesday October 13 and 7.30am on Wednesday October 14.

Around 7pm on Monday October 12, a man and a woman were seen to enter The Newell Centre and act suspiciously, before leaving.

The man is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, skinny, with a gaunt face and unshaven, wearing a denim baseball cap, a black zipped bomber jacket, a red-and-white scarf and skinny fit blue jeans.

The woman is described as 5’4”, mid-late 30s, with blonde mousey hair in a ponytail, a rounded face with of a slight tan, and wearing a leopard print face mask with a blue denim jacket, white T-shirt and skinny fit blue denim jeans.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a man and woman matching this description around that time, or indeed anyone seen acting suspiciously around the time of the burglary.

Specifically, officers would like to establish the identity of the woman wearing the face mask, who was accompanying the man.
