Man arrested after armed police incident in Crawley

Armed police responded to an incident in Three Bridges on Sunday afternoon (November 22).

According to Sussex Police, armed officers were called to a 'domestic incident' in Russell Way around 2.45pm.

A police helicopter was also seen hovering in the area.

A spokesperson said: "A 28-year-old man was arrested in Stephenson Way, Three Bridges, shortly after 4pm on suspicion of theft from the person of another.

"He has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue."
