Man arrested after Horsham robbery attempts

A MAN has been arrested following two robbery attempts in Horsham town centre.

A 50-year-old local woman was threatened with a knife and demanded she hand over her money as she walked to work at 3.10am on Wednesday February 15. No money was given and the man walked away, say police.

Minutes later, a 58-year-old man working at an electrical sub-station in The Causeway was held at knife-point.

The man demanded money but left when the worker refused.

Neither victim was injured.
