Man arrested at West Worthing railway station released on bail

A man arrested by Sussex police on Thursday (September 29) has been released on bail.

The 22-year-old Lancing suspect was tasered and detained by officers at West Worthing railway station, police confirmed.

He was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm without a certificate and has been released on bail until November 2, police have said.

Detective Inspector Alan Pack said: “We continue to make progress with the investigation. Anyone with information about any of the robberies please contact us by emailing [email protected] or ring 101 quoting Operation Zinger.”
