Man charged over serious Portslade assault

A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Portslade.

Sussex Police said officers were called to a residential address in Trafalgar Road at about 7.40am on Easter Sunday (April 12), where a man had suffered cuts to his neck.

The victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital to be treated for his injuries – which, police said, were not assessed as life threatening.

Lukisz Lisowski, 35, of Trafalgar Road, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with grievous bodily harm and remanded in custody, said police.

He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (April 15) where the case was sent for trial at Crown Court on a date yet to be determined.
