Man charged with Wild Park murders in 1986
A man has been charged with the murders of two girls in Brighton in 1986, police have said.
Russell Bishop, 51, has been charged with the murders of Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows at Wild Park in October 1986, Sussex Police said.
At a court hearing today (February 2), Bishop pleaded not guilty to the murders when he appeared by video link at the Central Criminal Court.
Bishop has been remanded in custody for trial at the Central Criminal Court on October 15, police said.
