Man in court charged with Midhurst robbery

A man has appeared in court in connection with a robbery at William Hill in Midhurst last week, police have confirmed.

Robert Burdon, 36, of Mendip Road, Bristol, North Somerset, appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, charged with robbery.

The case was adjourned for trial at Portsmouth Crown Court on September 30.
