Man stabbed in Crawley town centre

Police investigating an altercation in Crawley are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The incident - involving three men - is believed to have happened at about 1.30am on Sunday on The Boulevard after the victim left Anjeliques bar, police said.

The victim - aged 41 - suffered a stab injury to his lower back and self-presented at Crawley hospital where he received treatment, according to police. He has subsequently been discharged.

One of the suspects is described as a white male, 5ft 7in with light brown hair with a light coloured tracksuit.

The second suspect is described as a black male, aged around 25.

Detective Police Constable Lucy Campbell from Crawley Investigations said: "We are establishing the circumstances following this incident and are asking anyone who witnessed what happened to get in touch with us straight away."
