Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a murder investigation in Croydon who has links to Sussex.

Jordan Vincent is being sought in connection with the fatal stabbing of Rijkaard Saifa in Fellmongers Yard, Croydon.

Saifa was attacked with a machete and suffered at least two significant stab wounds, one to his chest on April 12.

The Metropolitan Police said Vincent has ties to Sussex and Essex.

A spokesperson from Scotland Yard warned the public not to approach him but to call 999 with immediate sightings.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Our colleagues from Croydon Police have appealed for information to locate Jordan Vincent.

“They are investigating the murder of Rijkaard Saifa in Fellmongers Yard, Croydon, on Friday 12 April.

“Detectives want to speak with him, and believe he also has links to Brighton.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Rijkaard Saifa was fatally stabbed at approximately 6.00pm on Friday April 12 2024 in Fellmongers yard, Croydon.

“Two people have been arrested and charged.

“Jordan Vincent is wanted in connection with the murder.

“Police are appealing for any information as to his whereabouts.”
