Married couple assaulted at Horsham pub

The man and woman, both in their 30s, were attacked by a man who threw punches at them. The incident happened between 11.20pm and 11.40pm.

The woman was uninjured but her husband suffered cuts, bruises and an eye injury which required hospital treatment.

Police attended and a 30-year-old man from Surrey was arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. He was questioned and bailed until Thursday, January 30, pending further enquiries.
