Passenger sought after men in truck abuse two women in Wivelsfield Green

The incident took place outside the local post office and stores in Green Road at about 4.10pm on Monday 15 March.

Police said: “Three men in a parked red Nissan truck, amongst whom this man was a passenger, were making comments of a sexual nature towards a woman.

“A second woman intervened and was subject to threatening behaviour from the same group.”

Enquiries are continuing, including to trace the vehicle the three men were seen to be travelling in.
