A report on the AA Road Watch website had said that on Portland Road in Hove, the road is closed due to a police incident.
It’s going from Portland Road both ways between A2023 Sackville Road and Westbourne Street.
Traffic is said to be coping well, and photos on social media have also captured the large police presence. The incident was first reported to AA Road Watch on 3.56pm.

Sussex World has approached the police for a statement on the current situation.
