Police appeal after man is reported acting indecently near Horsham

Police are looking for a man who is reported to have behaved indecently towards members of the public in a lane near Horsham.

The man was seen by passers-by in farmland off Chesworth Lane just outside Horsham, at about 9pm on Tuesday August 21.

He was fully clothed but was apparently acting indecently.

He did not threaten or attack anyone, disappeared, and has not been seen since.

He is described as white, tanned, in his late 40s to early 50s, about 5ft 10in, with blond/brown hair, and wearing a white shirt and baggy blue trousers with a belt.

PCSO Emma Atvarnieks said; “Several people reported seeing this man, and although there is no evidence of any actual crime having been committed, he clearly caused some upset and we do want to find him.

“If you can help, please call us via 101 quoting serial 1949 of 21/8.”
