Police appeal for witnesses to Cissbury incident

POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses to an incident on Cissbury Ring on Sunday (October 23).

At about 10.30am a woman was walking up to the ring with her two dogs when she saw a middle-aged white man jogging down the hill towards her and the dogs.

She shouted for him not to run past the dogs but he appeared to either ignore or not hear her and the dogs barked at him.

The man is described as white, aged between 40 and 50, of quite stocky but athletic build.

He is tall, about 5ft 10in to 5ft 11in with very short shaven hair which was dark and slightly balding.
