Police appeal over bike theft

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft of a bicycle in Worthing on Wednesday, October 12.

The Caraira Virtuoso, which has a white frame with blue writing and white handlebars, belongs to a 13-year-old local boy who left it outside a newsagents in Stand Parade at about 7am.

A man described as wearing a grey tracksuit was seen riding the bike away a short time later, police say.

PC Russell Watson said: “We would like to speak to the man pictured as it is thought he may have information which could help our investigation.

“Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area is asked to get in touch by emailing [email protected] or calling 101 quoting reference 155 of 12/10.”
