Police appeal over Haywards Heath robbery

Police were called after it was reported someone had broken into a flat at 2.45am and a neighbour heard shouting and called police.

Detective constable Oliver Summers said: “We have a limited description of the suspects but they are described as a white male, 5ft 10in, dark green tracksuit trousers with a grey hoody and his face was concealed.

“There was a second man but the victim did not get a good enough view of him. We are asking anyone who might have seen people acting suspiciously entering or leaving the block of flats.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 144 of 9/8. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
