Police call for witnesses after report of customer throwing steak bake at Burgess Hill Greggs worker

Police are seeking witnesses after a report of a customer throwing food at a Greggs employee in Burgess Hill.

Inspector Darren Taylor of Mid Sussex Police said the incident happened at 9.40am this morning (April 30).

He said: “A disgruntled customer threw their steak bake at a staff member because it was not warm enough.

“Thankfully it missed and hit the wall instead.”
