Police front offices in Lewes and Seaford reopen

Sussex Police’s front offices in Lewes and Seaford are back open.

The force confirmed on Monday, August 24, that both Lewes Police Station and Seaford Police Station will revert to public opening hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

The police front office in Newhaven remains closed at this time, a spokesman said.

They added: “Seaford and Lewes police stations will no longer deal with enquiries relating to the seizure of vehicles being driven with no insurance.

“These enquiries should be directed to the Eastbourne town centre front office, which is now open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.”
