Police granted more time in Crawley murder probe

Police have been granted an extension to further question four Crawley people who were arrested after a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death.

Two women, aged 24 and 22, and two men, both 20, were arrested on suspicion of murder after the man, who was from Mayfield, was found seriously injured in a property in Spencers Road, West Green, on Saturday (June 18).

A police spokesman said they remained in police custody after detectives were granted a 36-hour warrant to further question the suspects at about 4pm on Sunday (June 19).
