Police investigating vandalism, vehicle thefts and drug crime across Bognor area despite lockdown

Police are investigating a number of crimes across the county, despite the government lockdown.

• Parklands Avenue, Pevensey - Between Sunday March 22 11pm and Monday March 23 7am there was theft of goldfish from a pond.

• Bedford Street, Marine on Tuesday March 24 - There was a theft of a pedal cycle the padlock had been cut off and was left on the ground. Bike described as black and green Carerra mountain bike.

• St Richards Way, Aldwick - On Friday March 27 there was a theft of a brown garden waste bin.

• Malvern Way, Pagham - Between midday on Saturday March 28 and midday on Sunday March 29 a garage was broken into and a Sat Nav stolen from a car within the garage.

• Thrusloes, Aldwick- Between 5pm on Sunday March 22 and 7am on Monday March 23 there was a theft from a vehicle. The driver’s window was smashed and a purse and driving licence was stolen.

• Mornington Crescent, Felpham - Between Sunday March 22 6pm and the morning of Monday March 23. A car was entered and a purse was stolen.

• Winston Crescent, Bersted - Between Sunday March 22 midnight and 8am of Monday March 23 two vehicles were broken into and a variety of items stolen including clothes.

• Grassmere Close, Felpham - Between Tuesday March 24 7pm and Wednesday March 25 9am a van was broken into and a number of power tools stolen.

• Madeira Parade, Hotham - Between Wednesday March 25 11.30pm and Thursday March 26 6am car was broken into and money and a bank card were stolen.

• Hillsboro Road, Orchard between Friday March 27 10pm and Saturday March 28 9am a car window was smashed and items stolen including an iPod and sunglasses.

• Leonora Drive, Pagham between Friday March 27 3pm and Saturday March 28 11.50am a car window was smashed, nothing stolen.

• Broadwater Street, East Preston - Between Monday March 23 6pm and Tuesday March 24 10am motorbike stolen – described as black 50cc Roadstar.

• West Drive, Angmering - On Saturday March 28 there a break to a shed in which a leaf blower was stolen.

• Westlands, Rustington between Thursday March 26 5.15pm and Friday March 27th 8.15am a rear windscreen of a parked car was smashed.

• Haywards Close, Felpham – On Monday March 30 report of youths at location smoking cannabis, drinking alcohol and not social distancing. Officers completed a mobile patrol of the area but youths had left.
