Police issue update after man dies in road incident near Horsham

A spokesman for Sussex Police said three men arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving have been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

Shortly before 11.30pm on Thursday August 13, a 30-year-old man was found lying in Loxwood Road, Tismans Common, Rudgwick, and despite the efforts of paramedics was tragically confirmed dead at the scene, police said.

In an initial statement following the incident Detective Inspector Sue Neilson of the Surrey and Sussex Police Serious Collision Investigations Unit said: “This investigation is still in its early stages and we are working to establish exactly what happened.
