Police have made an arrest after an ‘aggressive, drunk’ passenger was reported at Haywards Heath station.

Inspector Darren Taylor of Mid Sussex Police said officers were supporting the British Transport Police at 9.17pm on Friday night (November 28).

He said officers needed a hand with an ‘aggressive, drunk passenger’.

Inspector Taylor said a person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and assaulting an emergency worker.
