Police probe after fight in Hailsham town centre

Police are probing the circumstances surrounding a fight in Hailsham town centre.

Sussex Police said officers became aware of the altercation in High Street around 8.40pm on Thursday (July 30).

A spokesman for the force said: “Police attended the scene but the group dispersed.

“Enquiries are now ongoing to establish what happened and to identify those involved.”

Anyone with any information about the fight, or anyone who may have any CCTV or dash cam footage from the area at the time, is asked to contact Sussex police online, or call 101, quoting serial 1148 of 30/07.

Alternatively, people can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
