Police receive report of man pushing industrial cable along road in Burgess Hill

Mid Sussex Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Darren Taylor said the incident happened in the Cromwell Road area at 11.30am on Wednesday (July 21).

He said police received ‘reports of a male struggling to push a stolen industrial reel of cable down the road which then started to unravel on them’.

“We have recovered the cable and also have a name for the suspect,” he said.
