Police release CCTV image after staff ‘racially abused’ in East Sussex village

Sussex Police have released a CCTV image, saying that staff at an East Sussex garage were racially abused at the weekend.

Police asked whether anyone recognises any of the three people in the image.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to the BP Garage in High Street, Nutley, on Sunday, October 27, at around 7pm, after it was reported that people had stolen items and racially abused shop staff. We are looking to speak with the three people seen in the CCTV in connection with police enquiries.

“If you recognise any of the people or have information to report, we ask you contact police online, or by calling 101 quoting reference 1149 of 27/10.”
